Oakridge Holiday House is nestled in amongst the beautiful flora of Killiecrankie in a private, sheltered and blissfully quiet rural setting; yet only a 7 minute walk to pristine beaches, azure waters, stunning cliffs, and the incredible geological wonders of ancient rock formations situated at the northern part of Flinders Island.

Flinders Island is the largest island in the Furneaux Group situated off the north-east tip of Tasmania.

The population is under a thousand people, located mainly in Whitemark and Lady Barron, with smaller settlements located in Emita, Palana, and Killiecrankie.

Such small numbers allow for peace and tranquility. Imagine being able to enjoy an entire beach to yourself.

This comfortable house is a short walk from a stunning beach and about a 35 min drive from the main town of Whitemark over sealed and dirt roads. The house has been recently renovated with quality kitchen appliances. We enjoyed the peace and quiet in this bush setting very much.

We had a great stay at Oakridge. The house worked well for our group of 6. Having the separate laundry and extra toilets and shower outside was great. The kitchen was a great layout and had all the basics. Lounge room was also a lovely space with comfortable couches and chair.

The host was super easy to communicate with and was very happy to top up any of the house hold supplies we needed, such as toilet paper and dishwashing liquid. However the winner was the great big deck! Just a fantastic space to enjoy watching the sunrise or watching the stars at night.
